gl1200 front forks bent
soo..... hit sand doing 35ish in a turn and my project nakedwing ended up in a flipping into a ditch, broke my left shoulder ball off the arm. after a year of it sitting in my garage, I started working on putting it back together, and the front tire seems to be off set from the center of the bike. Would both forks bend the same? is not obvious they are bent, but am planning on taking them off to test on some glass. the handle bar is obvious. but with the bike on the center stand, the tire seems like it is 1/2 inch or more off center.

Yes, both forks bend at the same time. Might also have bent the triple clamp.
Could possibly have also bent the frame, but less likely.
If it were mine I'd start over with another bike.

Glad to hear you recovered, that's a pretty bad injury.
Before replacing things, also just try reseating the forks - loosen the triple tree clamps and axle clamps, straighten things up, tighten everything up and see if it fixes the problem. But I suspect that yes, everything got bent on impact.
