I also have a '97 and am running the Austone Taxi tire. its an easy fit with plenty of clearance and great traction. If I manage to wear this one out( and I am trying hard) I will be buying another Austone again. 8-)
Ride safe, Todd

I'm running a Nokian 195-55 on my 99 1500.
Handles great. I only have 18,000 miles on it so far, so it has a ways to go.
But I already have a Austone Taxi here to replace it when I finally wear it out.

I Put an Austone on my '94 last year - if I ever get leaned over like that video then I've got other problems to worry about: my wife, sitting in the sidecar, would be yelling at me for one thing!

Give the troll some credit...he had to search through 5 1/2 years of posts to find that!

I didn't even notice the date of the thread. Some jerks just can't help themselves.

Where can I get an Austin’s taxi tire?

You probably can't. They aren't sold in the US anymore.
