It would appear a supplier is making the Austone Taxi Tire available on Alibaba in quantities down to single units, which is rare:

https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/ ... 98676.html

Anyone care to take the leap to order one and see if they get what they expect?

Wow! Cheap too. I recall that the last one I bought from Universal Tire in Carlisle Pa cost me $141.00.
These are listed at about a third of that.
Well, luckily for me, I still have two of these in stock hidden in a cool dark corner of my shop.
They should last me the rest of my life.

Credit card always better than debit card, and in my opinion better than PP. I'm sure in CA the credit card companies give same rights to dispute fraudulent charges as in US.

I've used PayPal before to send money a couple times, and to receive once. But I am far more skeptical of PP than a credit card for payments or receiving money.

You could buy one of those "Gift" Visa cards (they're really a debit card) where you pre-pay a useable balance, and if a fraudulent company tries to pull more money than what the balance is, gets declined because no money is there....

It looks to me that they are saying the minimum order quantity (MOQ) is one 20 foot container, not one tire.

You've got a language crossover issue.

They were THINKING one PIECE = one CONEX, with per-tire pricing based on that.

Don't feel bad. An ABC friend of mine once ordered for his whole office at a Chinese restaurant, showing off his Guoyu skills. 5 of one thing 7 of another, but when he ordered 1 rice, they looked at him like he was crazy, and when he insisted, they started laughing, realizing that he meant one ORDER or rice, but was ordering one GRAIN of rice.

I once ordered a bottle of wood glue from Amazon. This is what I received:

They charged me for one bottle of glue.

I am set for wood glue for many years to come.....

I wonder how long that stuff will keep.
I'm guessing it will go bad before you use it all up.

At least when I DO use it, I'm not being conservative. :)
