Stuck Trunk

Post by Wingberry » Tue May 15, 2018 9:44 pm

Hi everyone, new to the site. I can’t get my trunk open on my 1993 Goldwing. Neither using the cable release or the counter clockwise turn of the key. Any suggestions. Thanks

Is there a back story to this? Did you do some work in the trunk on the release mechanism? Is the bike new to you?

Take a look at this posting: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=25052#p139444

Okay, I do not know if this will be of any help or not, as I own a GL1800 and not a 1500. On the 1800, a counter clockwise turn of the key locks the trunk. A clockwise turn unlocks it. Is the 1500 opposite to that?
It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey
