seat height

Does anybody know if there was a difference in the seat height between a 1993 gl 1500 aspy and a 1994 gl 1500 SE ?
And if so was it just the difference in the seat. I think my 94 SE sits lower then the 93 I had years ago ?? This 94 SE puts a cramp in my hip flexors and I don't remember my 93 ever doing that.
Plus I had to cut 1.5 inches off the top of the windshield to see over it. The top of the windscreen was right at my eye level. I did not have to do that on my 1993.

I'm pretty sure the 94 sits lower, I remember reading that when I first got my 90 and felt it was a little too tall for me.

Hi fibersport. thanks for the reply. I just did a google search for specs on the seat height of the 93 versus the 94.
It says the 94 is 29.1 inches. and the 93 was 30.3 inches. So the 94 is about 1.2 inches lower then the 93 and that is about what I had to cut off the windscreen to keep the top edge from being right in line with my sight. I might try adding about an inch and a half of foam on top of the seat pan under the Honda foam as the stock Honda foam and shape fits my butt just right as did the 93 I had a number of years ago. I need to take some bend out of my hip flexors. they start to cramp up after about 100 miles or so.

Out of curiosity, what color is your seat? I want to say the stock seat I bought might be from a 93 or older, it's brown as well.

I'm Not sure how many colors the wing came with in 1994 but my SE is that two tone red color and the seat is a redish brown. More brown then red. My older 1993 aspy was black and the seat was was a dark grey. I seem to remember that that the seat on the 1993 aspy was a little wider toward the front of the seat and a little taller then my 1994 SE.

Will a 94 seat fit easily on a 93. I would like something a little closer to the ground.

I am not 100% sure but I think the 1500 seats were all the same , only about 99.9 % sure. Maybe someone who knows 100% sure they would fit will chime in. On the old 93 I had the seat foam kinda broke down after 150,000 miles and on hard bumps I could feel my butt bottom out on the plastic seat pan and I only weigh 160 lbs so I had Mr. Eds Moto rebuild the drivers portion of the seat. I think it would be way cheaper to have someone remove an inch or two of material and shave the sides a little to make it slightly narrower so you could flat foot it a little better. A new seat from any of the on-line sources is about 745.00 dollars.
How many miles do you have on the seat ? And how much do you weigh?
What color is your seat ? Mine is brown and has only 48,000 miles on it. I am about to add about 1.5 inches of foam under the existing foam to help decrease the bend in my hip flexors . On less I can find someone who wants to exchange seats. But it would need to be a low mileage seat and in perfect condition like mine. Black or brown. Preferably brown. Over night air shipping would be way less then buying a new seat or having someone modify a seat.

Finally got around to getting the seat from the attic. The number on the plastic pan starts with 77200, then M?5? 0000. There is also an ink stamped number of 0778 032 on it. I need to verify the middle set of numbers, my eyes are not cooperating! It is brown and there are some slight wear just under the front hole for the grab handles.
