Re: PSI of rear shocks
Good Morning,
As per your question on the air pressure for your shocks, With 2 up at 320lbs I'm running 46psi, when it's just me I drop it to 20psi. I would think 65 psi is a bit much for the system, the book specs. say 57 psi max, but if it works for you that's great.

Re: PSI of rear shocks
This is from the Owner's Manual:
Rear Suspension Air Pressure
The air pressure can be. easily increased or decreased using the
air pressure control switches on the right front fairing. The air
pressure control system includes a limiter that prevents
increasing pressure beyond the recommended maximum. The
recommended range is:
0-57 psi (0-400 kPa, 0-4.0 kg/cm2).

Re: PSI of rear shocks
Normally the rear suspension pressure should be adjusted when the bike is on the center stand according to the owners manual.
That means, if the rear tire is touching the ground, the pressure reading will not be correct.
So you should find a way to adjust the pressure on your bike.

Re: PSI of rear shocks
Hi Team,
I have a GL1500 and fitted a Hedingham Xl sidecar 3 Years ago. The rig has in the past been very hard suspension, having researched the forum comments resolved ride issues by Increasing rear suspension to 48psi, wow what a difference. Was wondering is there any others with 1500 with a heddingham rig. I am only the second person to have this type of rig here in New Zealand. Would be neat to chat to fellow rider with the same gear. I also ride a 2007 1800.
Cheers Bill
