Tried to put led tuns signals on bike they flash a 100 mph where is the flasher on a 1988 gl1500 need to put a elec. one in

Both flashers for turn and hazard are located under the trunk. Should replace both, I believe.

But in doing so, you will lose the function of the auto turn signal cancel.

If you add load resistors and leave the original turn signal relay in place, it will fix the hyper flashing problem, AND keep your turn signal cancelling function.

Personally, I found the auto cancel doesn't work as well as it needs to, at least in mine. Mine cancel when I don't want them to, like while slowing to wait in a left turn lane, or to make a right. I'm still used to turning them off manually anyway.
