Well, I could not recall so I picked myself up and drug same down two flights into basement shop, and now I'm back. It just bugged me that I could not recall which was which.

Anyway, my 1200 has a round plug on top right that snaps into square hole, that's the one somebody once told me was for an outlet but I don't see how.

On my '97 1500 SE that location is where the knob and stuff for opening / closing foot warmers are, nothing to do with CB at all. Now that you mentioned it, seems I did one fix a buddy's cable and the hole is not round. On left is headlight adjuster up / down and CB is in left fairing near knee.

The hole is not used on the Interstate and Aspencade so there is a plug in it. The SE model has the adjuster for the foot warmers.
