rear brake line change

hello from France and have an happy christmas and happy new year.

on a 1500 of 1993 I take holidays to replace my lines of brakes but big problems in the back.
here is my question am I obliged to remove the tank ???

Yes, you have to remove all plastics on the right side an also you have to remove the mufflers and heatshields from the bottom side for replacing the brake line to the rear brake rotor or else you can not reach the places they are attached to the frame.

I replaced all brake lines earlier this year and the rear brake cilinder as well, hell of a job wich i never want to do again.......

yes, That's it,
I removed the 2 exhausts, the smoke box to reach the pipe under the tank.

what a job !!!!!!
it will take time to reassemble everything !!!!!

I remember that someone had bent the brake lines or the bracket (not sure) to make the work easier, but I couldn't find the link yet.

Its a big job but you dont have to remove the gas tank. Had to remove both mufflers, crossover, heatshields and right exhaust header.
