So there ia this little plastic 3 position switch located next to the ignition switch. Ive been all over my manual and cannot find an explanation of what it is or what its supposed to do. Anyone know? Picture inserted.

It's something that was installed by a previous owner, it's not stock from Honda. You're going to have to follow the wires to figure it out.

If the bike ignition is turned on and the motor running - what happens when you turn the switch to any of the three positions ?? - you could have a fancy farkle there - and you are missing out on using it... as WingAdmin suggested - follow the wires - and all will be revealed grasshopper. :)

Motor dont run as of yet... Fuel pump problem I think. And the wores coming off the Switch seem to be going to a wire harness that looks stock from honda. Honestly I want to beat this thing with a 20 pound hammer... Im so frustrated over the past few days. But persistence Will pay off in the long run and will net me a wonderfully long distance bike.

Maybe if you could post a picture of the wires leading into the harness may be a clue - as it doesn't sound standard..

I have the same switch and it's for cornering light. (Constant - Off - Cornering light).
