I have a question concerning the front suspension. I'm looking for a straight left front fork assembly. Would '88 thru 2000 be the same? I have a '96 Aspencade and was wondering if the tubes are the same for all GL1500's. By the way, this forum is the best and friendliest. By far the most knowledgeable and most willing to help. A huge thanks to everyone and especially to Wingadmin for such a well organized site. It seems like I'm on it almost every day. Thanks in advance for any and all input.

Re: GL1500 front forks
The pipes have different serial numbers 51410-mt8-00 versus 51410-mam-003, probably due to the slightly lowered suspension in '95 and later.
The complete assy have different serial numbers too...... I would think twice before using older type forks. But maybe someone else has experience with it....
