Re: Reverse gear relay and something else..
The part in the picture seems like the carburetor control unit (note that it will also have an ignition control unit), but it should be on 1988 and 1989 models.
If your bike is a 1990-2000 model it will have only one unit called Engine Control Unit.
The Reverse System has several relays and parts. If you are asking the reverse control unit it is under the trunk next to the cruise control unit.

Thanks Erdeniz. I'm just trying to get rid of all unessesary stuff for my naked project. Cruise control and reverse are one of them, just trying to figure out what can be removed without harming basic engine work.

Do you mean reverse relay switch? That would be under the seat on the thin crossmember.PiotrGL1500 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 16, 2019 3:21 pmHi guys, I have two questions that bother me:

I would have to agree with Erdeniz, that device CCU was only found on 88-89 machines. Same with the device (2 hoses & brass fittings) you are holding in first picture and that is a barometric altitude pressure sensor which is only on the 88-89. Does your engine starter have 2 battery cables going to it? If so then it is an early model.

Will check that starter wires tomorrow. I know the barometric pressurre sensor, that ALL will get rid of.....as I wrote all what can be only removed will be disconnected and throw away. BArometric sensor will be the first choice, than cruise....and of course ALL air injection stuff.
