starter relay switch b replacements

Post by jreeverts » Mon Feb 04, 2019 11:23 am

Hello
I'm trying to find a good source for the replacement of the starter relay switch b on a '98 1500SE. Any suggestions?

Further - when I do get one, is there a simple way to attach the cable without having to remove the gas tank side piece?

Thanks,

Jim Reeverts,

I'm not sure which relay it is that you are looking for.
Is it this one? /Store/Goldwing ... MS-H30.asp
Part # 38380-MN5-003

Or this one? https://www.partzilla.com/product/honda/38501-KG8-004
Part # 38501-KG8-004

They are both available from Partzilla.com for under $30.

Thanks Erdeniz. It helps to know exactly what someone is looking for. A part number can be pretty important.
Though the OEM relay looks expensive compared to the knock-offs, I'd go for the OEM. I've heard of some really bad results with the knock-offs.
