Morning all. Just a quick question please:
When the 1500 changed from a six-spigot to five-spigot cush-drive in the rear wheel, did they also change the wheel bearing sizes? I think the drive-line changes I mention were made between the 1990 and 1991 models?
I'm seeing on ebay a set of rear bearings with a seal, and the listing only states 1988-1990, but I have a 91.
regards Craig

Rear Wheel Bearing different after 1990?
Was speaking with my 19yr old son today: he has no idea what 'vertical hold' refers to.

According to the parts manual the 88-89 '90 and '91 all use different bearings. '91 according the manual 91052-MAE-004 and 91052-MT3-004

According to partzilla parts catalog;
91053-MN5-003 (The wider one) can be used on all 1988-2000 models,
But the other one has various part numbers along the years.

Although I have downloaded the parts catalog, I use the database of partzilla.com which is much more practical.
As you click on a part, you can see the "related fitment" of that part along the years and the models of the bike.
