Passenger floor board won't stay down
Need a little guidance on how and what to adjust so the stock passenger floor board will stay in the lowered position. Currently, when I activate the lever and push the board down, it comes right back up. The left side works fine, it's just the right side that's giving me grief. 1994 GL1500 SE Canadian Edition. Thanks in advance. John.

first off make sure your cable is working and not broken at one end, the main cable from the handle meets and tee's off under the seat, it may be the cable to that floor board is broken. if not see if you can see the locking part in the board and make sure it's moving. it may just be unhooked or just need a good lube to get everything moving smoothly

Thanks AJ. Great information. I'll follow up as soon as it warms a little up here in Ontario Canada.

Probably the mechanism inside the rubber boot needs some lubrication.
