Can I Tow My Trike
Does anyone know if you can tow the bike with the drive shaft rotating while it is being towed..............or does the drive shaft have to be disconnected in order to prevent any internal damage.........I'm looking at building a tow dolly for my trike........thanks

Disconnect drive shaft if towing more than a very short distance. No lube to the spinning output shaft in the tranny if the engine isn't turning the oil pump.

Re: Can I Tow My Trike
I would definitely use a trailer. I prefer enclosed.
We have a 14’ dual axle with a ramp door in back that pulls good with the 1/2 ton truck and the bike fits good in it. I believe a trike would fit well in it also. Dave

Re: Can I Tow My Trike
"Icksnay on the ollyday" , , , , Drive shaft/tranny doesn't do well without that engine oil pump working. Definitely trailer it, , enclosed is best but flat-bed is OK too. Hmmm, , , I wonder if it'd fit in a toy-hauler like AZGL1800 (John) has, , , That might be too much weight behind the axles tho, , , ,

Re: Can I Tow My Trike
Probably a lot easier to pull driveshaft on a trike, though... He (OP) did mention that...
