DIAGNOSTIC CONNECTIONS

On the possibility of tearing into the carbs, I need to know where and how to hook up a external tach and my mercury balancers...
Any info? Thanks.

For the balancers you may hook up them as seen in attached pic, left right in place of the #6 tube, (leave the tube alone) and right side by removing the 5mm bolt circled red. As for the tach I got the signal from the minus side of one ignition coil, it's easy to get at them when you're at carbs, (I ran a wire to left compartment and conviniently insulated left it there for next time) .
