Hi, you all. I looking for some information on installing passenger arm rest on a 98 1500SE. I'm hoping to do some homework as to what the job details before I get started. I have the arm rests and as you know the SE's has a radio and a CB mount, so I'm good that way.
As always thanks for your help.
Ed

Re: Installing passenger arm rest
I just installed a set of Show Chrome passenger armrests on my 1999 SE. followed their one sheet directions and had no problem.
You can get the directions online.
Open the trunk, remove 3 screws on each side holding the small pockets under the speakers. Remove the pockets and you can get to the antenna bolts. The hardest part is putting the pockets back on. They fit tight.

Also put on Show Chrome arm rests about a year ago.
Straight forward with no surprises or secret hand shakes. Like previously said, only getting pockets back on...a little tight.

Tsandvik,
Thanks for your information. Sounds simple enough, I look forward to putting the passenger side box lids back on. Sounds like FUN, HE HE.
