Why won't my rear speakers work? I put new speakers in when there wasn't any, plug into the right harness. So what's up?
I also want to install turn flashers inside my mirror housing but don't know if the mirrors come out to do this.

Re: Speachers and mirrors
If the bike didn't come with the rear speakers it most likely doesn't have the speaker front/rear fader control either. Might have to install a fader to get the rear speakers to work...

Re: Speachers and mirrors
Ndakman, , the folks who want to help fix your problem will need more information that only YOU can provide, , , ,
What rear speakers did you put in, and do your front speakers work properly?
Do the new speakers require more than your stereo can handle, and do you have an Amp connected? (Correctly?)
Is it an OEM stereo and does it have a "fader" switch/button that is faulty or missing so you can't "select" rear speakers?
What connector did you connect them to, and did you check the connector before you hooked up the speakers?
There are many many answers to your first question, but a "shotgun" response will likely confuse the issue, , , so lets give the experts as much info as possible to narrow the possibilities and resolve your problem quickly.

Re: Speachers and mirrors
All speakers front and rear are new and made for my GL1500 Goldwing interstate, new speaker wire harness, new fader harness. I'm told not using the fader could be the problem. I'm thinking of hooking the rear direct to the front with out the fader.
