Is There a Knowledgeable 1500 Rider in Houston?
That would be willing to trade a lunch/coffee/beer for a "tour" of the Wing? How to get the various covers off, any other tips such as airing tires, oil checks, etc. Call it a familiarization routine, if you will... kind of like first time pilots get to do with their first airplane.
Thank you.
Thank you.

oh yeah
I remember my first lessons on airplanes, it as several hours, make that days, before we were allowed to touch one.
I'm a bit too far north for you, Oologah Lake, Oklahoma, 35 north of Tulsa...

This site has a place you can look at
viewforum.php?f=14
There are many video's on line that will show you how to do several things on your wing. Most them show you how to remove the parts to do the project.
For instance google oil change on a 1500 , or air filter change, or seat removal,

StrongEagle,
I don’t know about “knowledgable”, but I have been in mine pretty deep. Just about all the knowledge I get is from this forum.
I was in the Woodlands area for 5 months with work, but I’m back in Rockport till July. I’m being sent back to the office in the Woodlands around July for a few months, maybe we can get together then.
If you get to the Rockport/Corpus Christi area let me know, we can try to meet up.

For sure... a trip down to the Rockport area might be fun. And, when you get to the Woodlands, we could do a bit of east Texas Piney woods riding... nice roads.RockportDave wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2019 10:14 pmStrongEagle,

With the weather we have had lately you may have to get a Waverunner to get here. We got 5 1/2” of rain between 11 pm Thursday night and 4 am Friday morning. I see where Houston is getting most of the rain though.

Yes, we got 4 1/2 inches Thursday night over a period of 4 hours. No more, though. Folks in Kingwood and Sugar Land got whacked a lot harder.RockportDave wrote: ↑Sat May 11, 2019 12:39 pmWith the weather we have had lately you may have to get a Waverunner to get here.
