Custom Seat

Post by Elmobile »

Could some one tell what is this seat?
Reason I ask is because it is in good shape and I'd like mo keep it this way. I would like to get a good rain cover for it.
Any suggestions?

Cheers...

Stich pattern is a giveaway - Hartco Diamond. But most any rain cover will work.

More than a few riders have been shocked to find a perfect "seat cover" in the zippered pouch just below the passenger backrest. The nice condition of the seat could be hiding a perfect condition "cover" inside the zipper. (good place to hide a spare key too)

Bluthundr31,
Had to check right away... but no such luck.
How many time did I remove this seat and never noticed the "pouch"! Indeed a god place to hide a spare key...

Any recommendation for a good seat cover?

hmmmm, , , ,what is in the pouch then??? Sure woulda been sweet to have a seat cover in there.

Your seat sure looks like its close to a standard "size", so any "seat cover" from any 1500 seat would fit nicely. I've got an old torn up seat, I'll take a look to see how it is secured into the pouch. It might help you decide what seat cover you will need.

On mine the seat cover is only held to the bike with a strap clipped under the seat. You have to pull the seat off to get to the clip, but the seat cover(rain cover) should be able to be removed.
