extra gas tank
i have a extra gas tank in right saddle bag i got a low flow, low press. gas pump, on - off with switch trying to tie in to gas tank. any ideas?

You can't fill the tank thru the existing fuel line, fuel won't go backwards thru the fuel pump.
and you don't want to overfill the tank while riding.
My suggestion is to use a rubber fuel line hose, put a 1/4 turn Ball Valve with Teflon seal on the end of the line. when your gas tank gets low, stop and refill from your reserve tank.
My 2 gallon tank rides in my right saddle bag, I just take it out, and pour it in the top, no fuss, no mess.
IF, you really want to use a separate fuel pump, then do like I did with my 74 Suburban.
Drilled a hole in the tank, screwed in a brass fitting, then I soldered it to the tank.
You could use JB Weld Steel instead of solder to seal it gas tight.
