another radio problem

Post by wngersince78 » Fri Feb 25, 2011 5:11 pm

Riding a 94SE, will have the radio on and hit the brakes and loose FM signal, doesnt ever do this to the AM side or the CB. Sounds like a ground issue to me.
When this happens the speakers have the hissing sound as if there is no reception. Sometimes I can get the FM side to come back by turning unit off and on again..Any insight would be helpful, thanks in advance

I just had to take my radio out of my 94 Wing because of a number of problems. There is one place you can contact and send it to, to have it fixed. Go to and give him a call and explain what is going on. He will give you a good ideas as to what is wrong

Could be that the antenna worked loose while changing air filter. Little silicon grease on connection does wonders stopping corrosion.
