Post by dvjoiner »

I have a 1988 gl1500 Goldwing with a ca. friendship 2+2 sidecar the sidecar has a Warner eleetrack 10 linear actuator 12vdc 1000 load rating  it has 2 wires coming out of it going to a bunch of wires and relay in trunk of sidecar
I have 2 questions
1st wat  is it for?
2nd how to wire it up so it works?

It is to trim the sidecar to compensate for road crown, wind, etc., to make the bike track straight. Should be a handlebar control to adjust that trim. CS can probably send you a wiring diagram.

Don't expect ANY help from California Sidecar - they will disavow ANY knowledge of ever having built sidecars...

You might be able to get some help from dmc sidecars. Maybe not for free but if you need the help they should be able to provide. Sidecar bikes are a lot of fun. :D
