Doing the timing belts!
Hello, didn't find any records of a timing belt change so I'm doing it when the parts get here. From this wonderful site I also decided to do the sub, cruise, and air filter. Oil change. It has new fork seals, I did a fuel filter (used a car one, did it on the road) and the petcock rebuild. Have the part coming for the clutch lever, (bushing?). While I've gotten this thing apart is there anything else I should do, look at, check? Thanks! Tracy

Good time to change the plugs since you have access to them.

Hi Tracy,
It might not be a bad idea to change/bleed your brake and clutch fluids. A coolant fluid change might be something to consider too.

When I did my belts last year I also did coolant, plugs, and sub filter.

If within your budget I would recommend also changing out the tensioners. Another part that if it goes will more than likely take out the whole engine.
I am obsessed with preventative maintenance. While in there I figure might as well take care of anything that could be considered consumable.
