RR brake hose leak
Sprung a leak in my rear brake hose. I ride a '94 Goldwing SE Lehamn trike, and the rear brake hose sprung a leak located just before the connection to the caliper. Fortunately I was only 2 miles from home so using the front brake only, I was able to ease my way home. I've ordered replacement parts but am open to any suggestions as to how to make this repair as simple as possible, shy of sending the bike to the shop. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Re: RR brake hose leak
Replace the hose, bleed everything on the rear master cylinder (right and left rear calipers and left front … and you may end up doing it twice) is about all you can do. My '97 Lehman (converted in 1998) has drum rear brakes, not disc. Also both rear brakes feed from a junction likely located on left side of swing arm on top side.

I did misspeak, my trike likewise has drum rear brakes. Thanks again for your advice, it is greatly appreciated. Now just waiting for the next three day weekend to fix the problem. Thanks again.
