WHAT IS THIS!??
HI. First post here. Cool site! Picked up a 90SE. No manual(yet). Trying to figure out gadgetry.
I attached a picture with a red arrow I put on the pic in MS paint, pointing to the handle thingy.
It's very close the the passenger right side grab bar.

It is the passenger floorboard adjustment lever.
Actually the floorboard has only high and low positions.

Pull the lever to unlock the passenger foot rest then push the foot rest down.Release lever to lock it.
Do that again and the foot rest springs back up.
This works for either side.

works better if you have someone putting slight pressure on the passenger foot rests

The passenger footrests can be adjusted upwards to accommodate short legged passengers or kids.

It is the DRIVER EJECTOR LEVER.

Insane mechanism. They were stuck down. Had to pry them up individually. Are they pneumatic?
