i asked if any one could help with remapping carb vacuum pipes from a 90 gl1500 to suit a 89 gl, i since send photos of the carbs to a friend in the USA another mistake :oops:
apparently the carbs that i would like to fit onto the 89 are from a 1992
PLEASE if anyone can shed any light on the correct vacuum pipe lay out?? and what to plug up.
any assistance would be appreciated

88, 89, and 90 models are unique bikes, their electrical wiring, vacuum lines etc are very different from each other and later models.

Here are the ignition and fuel system diagrams, not the carb. vacuum lines, but it may help understanding the differences.
If you download and sort the diagrams according to the years, the red dots will show the differences from the previous model that I have noted.

If he downloaded all of those schematics, and went to a Print Shop, they could print them on very large paper and make it so much easier to read.
