GL1500 carburetor identification
I have a 1989 gl1500 and I am trying to buy a used carburetor for spare parts. This carburetor looks to have a mismatch of different parts from what I see online. The carburetor I have has the code ( VDGEA A ) it has the round looking throttle cable wheel unlike some I see with the oval throttle cable wheel. Can someone point me in the right direction for identifying the year and model of this carburetor and what might the difference from other years? I have attached some photos of some of the parts that I have found to be different on some of the used carburetors I have found for sale.

Re: GL1500 carburetor identification
This may help, looks like an 88, mine was a GEA [ B ] but mine was an import from Japan.
I since converted my machine to a 93 carbs, air sensor and ignition black box.

Re: GL1500 carburetor identification
Thank you. that is very helpful. I from this chart Itoo would assume it is 1988 since 88 was the first year and A should come before B . I wonder why A is not show on a chart that looks to have everything else?
