engine crash bars

Post by hwydoc2 »

This is most likely a dumb question but does anyone know if there have been any alteration to the mounting points of the engine guard bars from the first year of the 1500's through the 2000 model year??

Looking to purchase used bars off e-bay.

Thanks for the help

Seems that there are TWO "styles" of engine guards, , , ,one is called "88's" and the other is "98's".
Here is some more info on this subject, ,

The mounting points for the engine guards are the same from 1988 through 2000.

Thanks, yes quite useful. So all of the engine guards are interchangable, they were just changed in how they look, not how they mount, correct.
