GL1500 1: 6 model illuminated
Painted in my color "Pearl Sierra Green".
Lighting realized as far as I could (I'm not a model maker)
Has devoured quite a bit of time and some night hours.
And the parts are really small ...
4 of these micro leds were built in there. Size: 0.8x1.3mm per led

Wow! That's a fantastic job and you have great patience to make a lighted model.

You can get this 1: 6 Goldwing model sometimes on the Internet.
I disassembled it and painted it in the color of my GL1500. (Pearl Sierra Green)
I installed all the LEDs myself.

If its a Guiloy 1/6 scale, there's one on ebay right now. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Guiloy-1-6-hon ... Sw7t9eDSRD

Re: GL1500 1: 6 model illuminated
Thank you. Probably worth it because of the detail but I don't think I want to spend $40 for one.trike lady wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2020 6:17 pmIf its a Guiloy 1/6 scale, there's one on ebay right now. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Guiloy-1-6-hon ... Sw7t9eDSRD

Re: GL1500 1: 6 model illuminated
I have one that is new in box and I paid $70.00 for it, the original price tag was in the box and someone paid $138.00 for it. That's a great price for someone looking for one of these. Guiloy Goldwings are hard to find in the states but they're out there and serious collectors scoop them up. The seller should have it in diecast models and not toys. If it were the blue or tan one I'd be on it like white on rice.
I have a small collection of Goldwings packed in boxes in the storage closet/pantry.

That is a spectacular piece of work! It's hard to tell that it's a model!

Awesome work of art there!
I need to do that with my '89! Is "Pearl Sierra Green" close to "Commodore Blue Green"?
Thanks for sharing!
