I've read a lot on these pages about gl1800 levers fitting 1500s with no adjustment or problems, does anyone know if that is the case with these

someone here said they bought cheapo ones from china but didn't give any details.
As I have small hands and the originals are a bit sad looking also they extend further than the end of the handlebar preventing me from fitting plastic guard cups to stop the wind cooling the heated grips. I ride in all the year round.
