starting 1500 with fairing off

Hi,

Will a 99 GL1500 start without the fairing on? Bikes been laid up for going on 2 years. I had to take the fairing off and I want to start it up while I can get to some other bits.

I would think so if all the wiring connectors in the blocks above the fans are still connected.
