Can someone point me to where I can get the right size bolts or tell me the size so I can add my backrest to my bike. The original seat bolts obviously are to short. Thank you. ;) ;)

What I bought last year to point on the end and use for my seat, they are pretty long, The point I put on 4 of them really helps when reinstalling them (I chucked them in a drill "head first" and spun them against a disc sander at near about a 45 degree angle). They are M8 x 70mm … 1.25mm thread pitch. They are 70mm long under head, call it 2-3/4" under the head. They use the same 6mm Allen socket too. The threaded lugs on the frame of my GL1500 are open on the back end so length was / is no issue.

I got a set of these from Cyclemax, more than long enough, even threading thru my backrest mounts (Markland, if I recall.. PO added it.)

Whether you get these or make your own, the tapered end is a big help.
