Just a Thank you

Post by dstaff »

I just wanted to say thank you to the Goldwing Doc's Admins.

This weekend I finally tackled replacing my Steering head bearings. I followed the Goldwing Doc's how-to (Almost to the letter) and and had just 1 issue. I did not have supplies to make a Race removal tool. So took me better part of an afternoon to sort something else out. But once I did everything else was perfect.

Got the bike all reassembled with no left over parts. :D
Then took it for a 100Km shakedown test ride. What a difference. handles like a dream!

So the thank you is just for having such amazingly detailed How-to's available.

I'm so pleased to hear you got your bearings sorted! Having people declare success after a DIY repair is one of my favorite types of posts!
