What is this connection?

Post by dlbutler »

I recently bought this 91 GL1500A. I can’t figure out what this connector is for, please see attached photos, unless I start tearing things apart. Can anyone help?

All photos need to be turned 90 degrees clockwise.

I think, the previous owner had broken the headlight adj.knob, and installed it to hide the hole.

The headlight adjusting knob is on the outside of the panel, and can be seen on one of the photos. It almost looks like a proprietary power connector.

Correct, in the first picture it is more clear.
