CB Works?

Post by aholloway17 »

Hi All,

Back with another question, though its been a while. My CB works in that I can speak and people hear me and respond. The odd thing is that, new this year, I can only hear from the external speakers in the dash and not my headset. Both of my in helmet headsets work as I can listen to the radio and directions and music from my phone on both internal and external speakers when I switch. But, not the CB. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Press and release the SQUELCH knob. The display on the CB screen will show a headset in the lower left part of the window indicating headset speakers.
If you press and release again, it will show a speaker on the lower right side indicating external speakers.

I'm sure you would have figured it out easily enough. Perhaps you do not have an owner's manual. If that is the case, you can easily and rather inexpensively, get one from Ebay. I just looked. I entered GL1500 Owners Manual and got about 100 hits. Of course, some are way over priced but there are a few for $25.
