Now that OEM seals for the saddlebags are nonexistent has anyone found a suitable aftermarket replacement?
I've done the GOOGLE pictures rubber & foam seal profile search but they're either too small or way to big but in all basics they don't seem to be the right shape.

Re: Saddlebag seal, aftermarket replacement?
You could mask around the lip's groove inside & out using painter's tape, then "paint" the lid's lip with release agent, then fill the groove with silicone or rubber sealant, put lid on, and let it sit set a few days, then pull lid and remove release agent & tape & excess sealant. Custom molded. I've used release agent glass beading rifle stocks.
You might practice on some other object or cheap glass wear like bowl with lid, etc.

I did try three different silicones all set too stiff.
I'm currently looking at a foam tube with a single spike.
I might give this a try, just bridge over the slot.

If you are looking for #42 and #45 in the following picture, you could order them from partzilla. Note that they are for the right side.

Also, for the left side, if you search with part number, you may find it on eBay.

Also, if you search using the part number you may find the right side rubber on eBay and some other online shops as well.
