The plastic moulding between the dash board and the radio shelter. Ign switch bridge I believe it's called
Can ayone tell me what holds the front of this moulding to the speaker surround, I have the tab intact on the bridge but there is a peice of plastic broken on the bottom centre of the speaker surround.
Does anyone have a photo of what a good speaker surround looks like at the connection point with the bridge, I can't seem to decide what is broken so I can weld- a piece of plastic in the right place.
The two tabs at the back are ok where it connects to the radio shelter, but the front end keeps popping up as there is nothing to hold it.
Any input grateful
Alex

There is just a hole in the center where that tab fits into.

The front has THREE contact points that connect it to the dash panel/surround.

Re: Ignition switch Bridge
Thank you Rambozo, now I can see what is missing, on the bridge, the front tongue is in tact but the 2 side peices are missing. in the instrument surround looks like the top of the hole is broken out
Alex
Pity I can't get a closer look at the hole in the panel surround, I have a bar of abs and the correct glue, here goes.Alex

Re: Ignition switch Bridge
I have a Garmin / Ram mount and a gear/volt indicator, found the rubber doughnuts let it rock too much, so I secure the rear via two strategically placed black zip ties. Works well.
Might buy a used take off just to have, but doubt it would be needed ever.
Bike not running, lights on, key on, just took pic to show someone gear indicator in 1st. I'd have to cut the zip ties to pull it to photo a tab slot? Might buy a used take off just to have, but doubt it would be needed ever.

I have installed two aluminum tabs under the ignition panel as shown below. The bold heads are hidden under the chrome trim.
