Antenna Swivel Pin
Due to an oops, the swivel pin (allows antenna to fold forward) for my 1989 Goldwing broke one of the arms which hold the antenna in place. I know I can order one from the U.S. for $5.95 but with shipping to Canada and the exchange rate it will cost me close to $50 CDN. Not very good economic sense for a $6 part. Used ones are impossible to find. Has anyone been successful with a repair, possible welding/brazing/solder?

Maybe, you can call or go to your local Honda dealer with the part number and ask them how much it would cost for them to order one for you.

Re: Antenna Swivel Pin
It really burns me when I need a part and know that I just threw one away. I am in the US but the one I had hasn't been gone a week and i could have given It to you and the freight wouldn't have been that bad. I hope that you are able to find one in CA.
Try to learn from the mistakes of others..... you won't live long enough to make them all yourself!

I can't guess the cost but, I think a machine shop can build it easily using aluminum or brass material.

I have seen that GoldwingKing web site before, and I am highly suspicious of it. There is next to no information on the site, they claim they respond quickly to phone and email inquiries, but there is no phone number or email address anywhere on the site. There is also no mailing address, or any information at all about what kind of store they are, what kind of business they are, where they are located, what they sell, or what they do.Viking wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2020 11:33 amMight want to contact these guys:

The domain itself has been locked, so nobody can investigate who actually owns it. The IP address of the web site is actually in Scottsdale AZ, not Canada. There is no secure server certificate on the site, so that's yet another way the site has been completely anonymized (certificates contain identifying information).
So...just saying, buyer beware.
Alright, I was curious, so I did some Internet digging to find this guy. Turns out he is in Toronto, and it is a tiny storefront business actually called "CycleKing." I also found a phone number and an address:
647-352-7133 Local
1325 Derry Road East
Unit 3C
Mississauga ON L5T 1B6
I found some semi-parted out Goldwings out back of his business on Google Maps:
https://www.google.com/maps/@43.6734344 ... 384!8i8192
There is no front door:
Just a back entrance, where the bikes are parked:
A quick search for CycleKing in Mississauga turns up this web site, with the same phone number I dug up attached to GoldwingKing:
https://cycleking.ca/
As well as this Facebook page:

Thanks for all the info. I'll be checking it out. It's not an item available through Honda.

Re: Antenna Swivel Pin
It's just a simple 'roll pin'. Go to your local hardware store or auto parts store and see if they can match one up for you. I have seen them in the stores before and they usually have an assortment from which to choose. Most will be a little long for your use but you can carefully grind it to length but, don't let it get hot enough to turn blue and lose it's spring temper quality.

At www.addonaccessories.net there are 2 part numbers associated, 18673-629 for an 1800 and 15673-629 for a 1500.
At www.sierra-mc.com they call it an antenna breakover adapter for the 1800.
Both companies are in the US.
