Anyone know what this is
this was under the trunk and spliced into the turn/brake lights. no markings or any identifying labels. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Anyone know what this is
It looks like an inexpensive trailer light isolator.
Is there a trailer hitch on the bike?

Were all the wires spliced into something? How big is it, thick, etc?
My first thought was trailer isolator, but they usually have more than just the two wires on the one side?

It has a hitch, red and green were on one side weren't hooked up. other side was hooked to turn and brake light wires.

Like I said, it is probably a trailer isolator. Had the red and green wires been connected to the battery, it probably would have supplied power to the trailer connector, unless the isolator was faulty. Since it was not connected to the battery, the previous owner may have determined that it was faulty or suspected it was faulty and then disconnected it. You should be able to run your own tests on it.
