Bad radio in 1989 Goldwing GL1500

That huge cumbersome radio doesn't work at all. Is there a system that would bolt right in to replace that antique system. :D
My wing is needing some work, so I've been enjoying for forum.
I've nicknamed it "Old Ugly."

But I would like some tunes while I ride, preferably from my phone via Bluetooth.

Is there a box that would mount on top of the tank that could be utilized to install a more modern system?

If any of you have built one and have plans, I'd be interested in seeing them.

I have a panel that will fit seamlessly on the centershelter and you can fit a 21st Century stereo with bluetooth/USB (to charge phone or play MP3's)/Remote/Aux-in and tons of other features, , ,the only caveat is that you'll only have 3"-3.5" clearance to the Air filter housing.

This is on my beast and has all the features I spoke about above. HOWEVER, the "body" of this unit lays horizontal on a plate bolted to the "blank-off" panel. Two small screws removed so that I could mount it "face-up" for easy viewing and operation.

The vendor charges me $132 per panel so that is what I charge members, I make $0 profit. Shipping is $15.05 Flat rate priority mail to anywhere in the lower 48. PM/Email me if interested

That is exactly what I'm looking for. Going to have to wait, though. Just bought a trike kit.
