Someone will add links to E Bay or Cyclemax because they think you don't know how to look for parts. Personally, I check the many bike dismantlers-you may even find them in the colors you want.

Lots of after market chrome ones out there. You might e bay or salvage yard for a black one. In 1995 the side covers changed a little but they still work on all year 1500's

I know what you mean, but "side covers" might get you more results in your searches.

Yep, I recall years ago when I hit an object hiding in the shadows on a road with the front tire, kicked it up on end I guess, no hole in engine / trans but it tore up lower side exhaust heat shield on left side, lower front cowl busted too, thankfully missed my shifter & foot, dented the left muffler too (still dented) that night I found matching on Ebay from a cycle salvage place in Florida, in a couple days I had my color matched parts for under $100 shipped, I call that a "steal deal".

Just that battery side cover with script in Candy Spectra Red for mine was over $400 new at Honda in 2004 when the original owner replaced the one he lost after jump starting the trike to sell, he also put a new battery in it then, cost him over $500 to sell it.

Of course, being black, easy to paint.

Hi Kevin, Alex here, why do you need a new battery cover, is it broken, or are the pegs broken off?, let me know as I have a good fix for broken pegs, did mine as good as new.
