In a previos post about changing dash lights to LED, on doing this I was unable to read the LCD screen at night, also, having changed all the bulbs, although the dash was brighter the bulbs were not the quality of the original incandecent and one by one they started to flicker and die.
I had chosen the bulbs with the most leds I could find , thinking they would give a better 360 degree light, but I soon learned more is not better.
WING ADMIN on a previous post on this subject recommeded a bulb of a particular make with just 3 leds, could not get these here in France, where a simple marker light led bulb is 10$+. I found these on ebay reporting to be made with OSRAM leds and a regulator on the larger ones, by no means cheap so I hope they're good, I can now see the LCD display at night, how right WING ADMIN was (as usual)
Thanks WING ADMIN
