95 GL1500 SE left inner saddlebag
Looking for a NOS or a very nice 95 GL1500 SE left side inner saddlebag in the candy spectra red. Anyone have a hookup? Lifted up the carpet liner and to my surprise I see the ground. Floor is completely shattered out and missing.

Re: 95 GL1500 SE left inner saddlebag
Have you considered making a new floor for the bag?
If it's just the floor, it won't be seen unless someone was
laying on the ground next to the bike.
Get a sheet of ABS plastic from Amazon.
Cut the hole in the bottom of the bag to be rectangular.
Cut the new ABS slightly oversize and glue it in with
ABS plumbing cement from home depot.
It's what I would do....

Re: 95 GL1500 SE left inner saddlebag
I have nothing to loose trying that. I've read many posts and watched a few videos for reference. Just there is a lot missing so it's going to be tricky getting the contours correct.

Use a heat gun to shape the patch.
Or do it in several pieces.
Wear gloves so you don't burn your hands.
That plastic gets really hot as it softens.

Re: 95 GL1500 SE left inner saddlebag
Hauling car batteries will do that. Too bad not closer. Wondering how would one ship a saddlebag & costs to do so. I have two been off the bike since triked in 1998, mild pinstriping. I didn't know was a inner & outer part, they been in an attic for 16 years over the carport.Great_adVENTURE wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 1:10 pm Looking for a NOS or a very nice 95 GL1500 SE left side inner saddlebag in the candy spectra red. UPS stores are you friend when it comes to shipping. Probably about $40 or so.CrystalPistol wrote: ↑Tue Jul 28, 2020 1:18 pmHauling car batteries will do that. Too bad not closer. I'll get them down, take a look, maybe send pics, see what I need to do to send. First though, need to move a car and get up there and get them down.Great_adVENTURE wrote: ↑Tue Jul 28, 2020 3:29 pm If you wanna part with them and you come up with a price let me know.
