I'm not familiar with the Valkyrie, but the pump has a different part # than the Goldwing and is about $35 more. Maybe someone that has a Valkyrie will come by with some information.

Very good point. I just assumed it was the same engine.

This is the weep hole on the pump:

GL1500 Water Pump
GL1500 Water Pump

It would appear on the Valkyrie, it is covered up by the flange of the mount where the water pump mounts to. This arrow shows where the weep hole location would be:

Weep Hole Location
Weep Hole Location

Therefore, if it was leaking, I would expect it to seep out between those parts, likely from right where those little rocks are jammed.

Look at an angle from rear towards front with good light, it's there.
