shifter hanging up
Has anyone got any help for a shifter (heal/toe) shifter that will stick and not return the mid position after up shifting? It's an occasional issue and happens more the hotter the engine gets the longer I ride. I've read that oil in need of changing can cause it so I did an oil change with only small improvement and now I'm wondering if I have a real problem. Btw, I do have a shifter pivot brace installed on the bike.
Try to learn from the mistakes of others..... you won't live long enough to make them all yourself!

Re: shifter hanging up
I would say your pivot brace is either loose or just a little out of adjustment and the engine heat makes it show up more. I here they can be rather tricky to get set up right.

Check all the linkage and pivot for binding and wear.
Pull it apart and lube it may help as well.
