Auxiliary floorboards value?

Post by Solo So Long »

When I got Ebi, she came with a set of auxiliary floorboards that mount to the valve cover guards, made by Markland. The clamps can be moved forward or backward.

Does anyone know what these cost? I've looked through the For Sales here and not seen anyone selling them, so I have no idea of their value, if I take them off (which I probably will).

They are worth whatever you can get for them. The higher the need of the buyer, the more they are worth.
New? Maybe $150 to $250.

Yep, that's why I was wondering what they had originally cost. I'll probably use them as a trade for something, but since I'm not seen any ads anywhere for them, I guess they weren't too popular.

Oh they were popular, abut 20 years ago. Nowadays, not so much.

My bike came with them and I'll tell you what when you have plastics off and you are cruising around it is pretty nice to get your feet up and over instead of behind that motor! Hot leg!

I've never had a cruiser before and I like 'em seems nice to stick your feet out during a long ride, especially when its hot out and you can blast some cool air up your pant leg.

But man they touch down easy in the twisties. Need to fold them up!

Thanks.

I've tried them, but I don't think I'll keep them.
