Special art and pinsripping
I have a 96 SE 1500 with what appears to be factory applied pinstripes in an artistic pattern. I also recently acquired 98 SE With artistic pinstriping and American Indian inspired art such as an elaborate dream Catcher on the front fender along with feathers along other parts of the bike. We’re these factory applied artworks or owner applied.

Definitely owner applied. Most air-brushed artwork like that can be removed with Easy Off oven cleaner and a towel.flyingdragracer wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2020 11:55 am I have a 96 SE 1500 with what appears to be factory applied pinstripes in an artistic pattern. Re: Special art and pinsripping
I removed some pin striping on the 85 LTD I used to have with a quick wipe with some lacquer thinner on a rag and then a coat of polish over that. Couldn't tell it had ever been there.

No pin stripping other than around the accent panels.flyingdragracer wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2020 11:55 am I have a 96 SE 1500 with what appears to be factory applied pinstripes in an artistic pattern. These are fairly stock SE bikes with no added pinstripes artwork added to compare to yours...
