I've hit a roadblock trying to fit SE adjustable passenger boards onto my Aspy. The plastic "fairing" part the passenger boards bolt through and into the frame is different so they won't fit.
I've looked at this:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/183820936218?ul_noapp=true
I sent a note to the seller he says per the manufacturer they give "2-3" inches of adjustability. I don't see how these would even install, it is a #12 bolt to secure the passenger boards to the frame, doesn't look like that sized fastener would even fit through the bracket. They are "big bike parts" / "show chrome" part 2-321 but I can't find any installation instructions or any info online, I'm sure they are discontinued at this point.
Has anyone used these or had an alternate solution to raise the passenger boards? I have (2) 2x4s screwed together and zip tied to the passenger board now and while it works it looks terrible and makes it a PITA to use the center stand as I can't flip up the passenger boards. Any ideas?

Re: Passenger Board Relocation
I have them on my 93 aspy. They do work. My wife (short legs) loves them. There is one down side however. In order to access anything behind the side covers, like the battery, you have to loosen the two bolts and drop the boards to the lowest level. Really no big deal. I keep a T handle hex driver in the trunk.

Re: Passenger Board Relocation
Yes the kit looks correct. There is about a 3 inch rise from the original position after mounting because of the mounting bracket design. Adjustment is only about 1 3/4 inch however.

I know it's no help now but years back I think it was Markland that made a device called STARS, They attached the crash bar and the seat bolt, they folded when not in use and had 3 or 4 different height adjustments, My wife is just under 5 Ft and she loved them. You can look at the position of her foot.

He has an Aspy. Transformers are only for the SE models. They used to have one for the Aspy but not now.joeincalif wrote: ↑Thu Sep 24, 2020 11:54 am Kuryakyn Transformer Chrome Passenger Floorboards

Thanks for the replies guys I ordered the brackets last night and looks like they should arrive a day or two before our trip. I think (hope) she will be happy now!
